Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your information, including the photos you upload for virtual try-on and the Anyware Chrome extension.

Last updated: 2026-10-14

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Anyware ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and virtual try-on service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

  1. Account information: your name, email address and sign-in details when you create an account.
  2. Photos you upload: the photo of yourself (or of a person who has given you permission) and the garment images you submit for a try-on.
  3. Generated images: the try-on results created from your uploads.
  4. Payment information: purchases are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive the order details and status, but never your full card number.
  5. Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser and device type, and similar technical data used to run and improve the Service.
  6. Cookies: small files that keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as language and theme.

How We Use Your Photos

  • Your photos are used only to generate the try-on you request.
  • To generate a try-on, your photos are sent to our AI image provider (kie.ai), which processes them on our behalf. Uploaded inputs are held in the provider's temporary storage and deleted automatically after a few days.
  • Generated results are stored with your account so you can view and download them, until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
  • We do not sell your photos and we do not use them to train AI models.

Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have explicitly agreed to it. Do not upload photos of minors.

Anyware Chrome Extension

The Anyware Chrome extension lets you try on a garment you find on another website. It only works when you use it, and it accesses only what a try-on needs:

  1. The garment image you pick: when you choose "Try on with Anyware" on an image (from the right-click menu or the "Try on" button shown over large images), the extension reads that image's URL and sends it to anyware.studio to generate your try-on.
  2. Your selfie: the photo of yourself that you upload in the extension's side panel is stored only locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). It leaves your device only when you start a try-on, when it is sent to anyware.studio and handled as described in "How We Use Your Photos" above.
  3. Your anyware.studio session: the extension uses your existing anyware.studio sign-in cookie to call the Anyware API on your behalf (to check your sign-in, show your credits and free previews, and create try-ons). It does not read cookies from any other website.

The extension does not collect your browsing history or the content of the pages you visit, does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use your data for any purpose unrelated to virtual try-on. It loads no remote code.

Deleting extension data: click "Remove selfie" in the side panel to delete your stored selfie, or remove the extension from Chrome to delete everything it stored locally. Try-ons you created are stored with your account like any other try-on; to delete them, email hello@anyware.studio.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate and secure the Service, including your credits balance.
  • Process payments and send receipts and service notices.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, storage, AI image processing, payments, email and analytics), under contracts that restrict their use of your data, or when required by law.

Data Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account, uploads and generated images at any time; we will delete them within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) to meet legal obligations.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@anyware.studio.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the Service.
